By accessing and using CalcTax.ca ("the Site"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site provides free tax estimation calculators and related informational content for Canadian residents. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

2. Accuracy of Calculations

All calculator results are estimates only and may contain errors due to software bugs, outdated data, or limitations of the calculation model. See our Disclaimer for full details. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy of any calculation. You agree not to rely on calculator results as the sole basis for any financial decision.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of the information you input into our calculators
• Verifying calculator results independently or with a qualified professional before making financial decisions or filing a tax return
• Complying with all applicable laws in your use of this Site

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including design, text, graphics, and the selection and arrangement of content, is the property of CalcTax.ca and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

5. Prohibited Uses

• Use the Site or its output to provide commercial tax preparation services to third parties
• Systematically scrape, crawl, or download Site content for reuse
• Represent calculator results as professional tax advice to others
• Misrepresent your affiliation with CalcTax.ca

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalcTax.ca and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to damages arising from incorrect calculations, software errors, or outdated tax rate information. In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100.00).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CalcTax.ca and its operators from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Site, your reliance on calculator results, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

11. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, and Affiliate Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and CalcTax.ca regarding your use of the Site.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
